In this excerpt, EMP team member Ollie Lovell provides a useful overview to the Explicit Mathematics Program. Prior to this point in the Webinar, Toni Hatten-Roberts, David Morkunas, and Ollie had highlighted six qualities of a world class mathematics program: Systematically sequenced, Based on human cognitive architecture, inclusive of regular (daily) review, Explicitly taught with dynamic instructional routines, Responsive, and Low variance. These are the six qualities that Ollie refers to at the start of this excerpt.
