About EMP Coaching

EMP Coaching provides targeted, actionable feedback to classroom teachers working with the Explicit Mathematics Program. Whether your school is looking for a light-touch, cost-effective option or a more involved live coaching experience, we have a format to suit your needs.

All coaching is delivered by trained EMP coaches and focuses on identifying a specific action step to help each teacher strengthen their practice.

Option 1

Written Video Feedback

Our lower-cost option, designed for schools seeking external support and advice at minimal cost.

Teachers submit a video of their teaching to an EMP coach at whatever frequency works for them. Videos may be of any duration.

The EMP coach will watch the video until they identify a pattern in the teacher's practice, then provide:

One suggested action step for the teacher to work on
A personalised written note
A recommended model video for the teacher to review

Per teacher, per consult
$32.50 ex GST

Option 2

Live Coaching Consult

A more involved coaching option — a 30-minute consult with an EMP coach, scheduled at a mutually convenient time.

The teacher brings a video of their teaching, which the EMP coach watches alongside them while providing live analysis and feedback.

During the session, the coach will:

Identify one specific action step for the teacher to focus on
Engage the teacher in rehearsal of the targeted practice (time permitting)

$70.50 ex GST
