Grounded in the science of learning

Spaced practice, retrieval practice, interleaving and cognitive load theory: these are well established strategies from cognitive science, and they sit at the core of how every lesson is built. Together they give students a structured, effective pathway to learning maths, and give teachers a program grounded in evidence rather than guesswork.

Is it aligned to the curriculum?

Wherever you're teaching in Australia, the EMP has you covered. It's carefully mapped to the curriculum in every state and territory, as well as the Australian National Curriculum, so the program gets your students to where they need to go no matter where the school is.
